Job Details: Fry foods and prepare hot entrees to specifications in an accurate and timely a manner to assure guests of a quality product.

Prepares sandwiches, salads, cold specials for the daily menu, pancakes and hot sandwiches.

1. Adjust temperatures on all equipment.

2. Prepares items requested by guests.

3. Acts as expediter by coordinating functions between food prep line and service personnel.

4. Recognizes and corrects any product discrepancies and variation in quality, standards or specifications.

5. Recognizes different cooking oils and their cooking temperatures.

6. Maintains sanitary procedures.

7. Prepares food as instructed by the Lead Cooks.

8. Picks up and delivers food from the Warehouse, Food stores, Vegetable Prep, Bake Shop and other food outlets.

9. Maintains proper food storage and rood rotation in all working areas and walk-ins.

10. Prepares meat to guest specifications.

11. Carves meat in prescribed portions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2-3 years in a restaurant kitchen.

Literate and fluent in basic English.

Mobility and dexterity to move large, heavy objects.

Auditory range must include immediate environment.

Ability to taste, smell, determine color variations, walk, stand, hear and good close/distance vision.

Manual dexterity to include handling food and various equipment including broilers, steamers, roasters, slicers, burners and various kitchen utensils.
