This position will be responsible for but not be limited to the following: Will Do: Provide our customers with great customer service.
Responsible for all aspects of in-house pastry and baking production.
Maintain proper levels of all baseline production needs.
Work on recipe and formula development.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining all pastry production needs.
Lead and direct production Team Members and have a large roll in expanding production program.
Operate equipment in a safe manner and train Production Team Members on Bakery and equipment safety guidelines.
Assist in stocking product at all deliveries.
Read, and stay informed on, all regional and team memos.
Attend product trainings, and monthly meetings.
Uphold all standards pertaining to cleanliness, HACCP programs and ensure that sweep and temp logs are being maintained.
Assist with resets, or any other task necessary to fulfill the job requirements.
Support goals and visions of Team Leader.
Support all regional and national programs and policies.
Institute and maintain Production Team Member training programs.
Must have/be: Organized, self directed, and passionate about baking and pastry.
Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
A desire to learn and grow in the Bakery Team.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a sense of urgency.
Understanding of and the ability to demonstrate the importance of working as a team.
Must be able to prioritize and able to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.
Able to lift up to fifty pounds unassisted Able to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time.
