Multi-Family Maintenance Techs: Confidential
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR MULTI-FAMILY MAINTENANCE TECHS The maintenance technician is responsible for completing building maintenance and repair and may perform unit make-ready duties on multifamily residential buildings.
The position reports to the maintenance supervisor
Corrective Maintenance: Satisfies service requests following company procedures:
Enters at residents convenience, if possible.
Makes necessary repairs.
Cleans up thoroughly.
Observes condition of apartment and reports any unusual circumstances (i.
e., size and number of pets).
Leaves notice of work performed.
Emergency Maintenance:
Is on call for emergency maintenance duty when assigned.
Is familiar with power, water, and gas turn offs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishes and fire hydrants.
Knows emergency telephone numbers (fire, police, maintenance supervisor).
Follows all company emergency procedures.
Complete duties on make-ready checklist:
Service appliances, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
Repair or replace old and faulty parts.
Re-key locks.
Replace burned out light bulbs and globes.
Interior painting
Other:
Assists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Picks up trash on property.
Reports all needed repairs to Maintenance Foreman.
Assists with other types of maintenance when necessary.
Attends all instructional classes conducted by management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily.
The requirements define the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform the essential functions.

HVAC Certification required.
