Sr. Data Modeler
Building and maintaining complex data models using ERwin or similar tool.

Title: Sr. Data Modeler Location: White Plains, NY Duration: Long term Rate: Open Start date: ASAP No.of positions: 2 Description: Hands-on data modeling, database design, and database implementation with developer support responsibilities and light DBA responsibilities, primarily on project-related work.
Architectural/Design/Process Skills: Data requirements analysis from business and object specifications.
Database entity-relationship modeling using modeling tools.
Understanding of both transactional models and reporting (either dimensional or ODS) models.
Technical Skills: Building and maintaining complex data models using ERwin or similar tool.
Normalization and optimization skills.
Conversion of logical to physical models.
Conversion of a physical model to a working database (Oracle experience preferred).
Development of database creation and modification DDL scripts.
Script library maintenance and control.
Experience: 5 to 8 years in data modeling and/or database design in an Enterprise Environment.
Optional Skills: ERwin Script Language, Oracle DBA, OO analysis & design, UML fluency and RUP.
