Sr. Administrative Services Assistant (Temp to Perm): Harvard Clinical Research Institute

HCRI is continuing to expand its presence as a leading academic clinical research organiztion and is currently looking for a temporary Sr. Administrative Services Assistant.
Position Summary: To see that the day-to-day functions of Office Services, Records Management, and Office Facilities are performed in an organized and prompt manner to meet the needs of HCRIs user community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the records management of active and inactive records Resolve day-to-day File Room issues Coordinate special projects relating to the File Room function Coordinate the day-to-day Office Services function Coordinate special projects relating to the Office Services function Purchase office supplies.
Responsible for resolving basic facility issues Member of the several committees relating to the above Backup for the Department Manager during vacations and other absences.
Perform other duties as assigned by management Backup for inbound and outbound Faxing, FedEx, Photocopying, and Reception Responsible for training new Office Services and File Room employees.
Backup for creating employee access badges Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of college preferred Experience working in an office services environment.
Knowledge of records management, preferably with medical records Knowledgeable in handling basic facility issues a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills Good organizational and problem solving skills Good people skills for dealing with co-workers and internal clients.
Capable of lifting at least 35 pounds Knowledge of the M/S Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Access); MasterTrak a plus.
