Reimbursement Business Manager

Position Description The Provider RAM position is responsible for the coordination and execution of strategic plans to address the BOTOX reimbursement needs of healthcare providers who use BOTOX for therapeutic medical conditions.
The Provider RAM delivers consultations and interventions with key physicians and institutional customers through specialized services to overcome BOTOX reimbursement barriers.
The Provider RAM works effectively and appropriately with key Allergan stakeholders as a customer team unit to achieve the targeted results.
The stakeholders include Neurosciences Medical Consultants (NMCs)/BOTOX Medical Consultants (BMCs) and their Region Managers, Dermatology Territory managers and their Regional Managers, Hospital Managers, Regional Scientific Services Managers (RSSs), Regional Healthcare Policy Managers (RHPMs), managed care managers, marketing, and other Allergan divisions as necessitated by market environment.
This position also supports the Dermatology division of Allergan.
The Provider RAM also plays a significant role in identifying commercial and government payer issues.
Education and Experience Bachelors degree in related field, MBA Preferred Minimum of 5+ years of total business experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech industry 2-3 years reimbursement experience, either in the public/private sectors or in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industries Experience with physician administered injectables preferred Excellent reimbursement expertise and payer knowledge preferred Knowledge and experience of legal and regulatory requirements related to the pharma/biotech industries Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a heavily-matrixed team environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills and business acumen Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent planning and strategy development while executing against tight timelines Strong leadership and consultative skills Ability to travel Computer software skills Allergan offers a competitive compensation package along with an excellent working environment.
