Novartis Sales Representatives are responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.

He/she must provide the most current information pertaining to our products and their approved indications in a manner, which will ensure the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business potential of the territory.

Job DescriptionAttainment of sales objectives within assigned geography, hiring, training, supervision, developing, motivating and monitoring the performance of all district managers within assigned area.

Develop significant relationships with key customers that have area-wide impact.

Design, develop and implement programs, training, etc. which enhance customer loyalty, increase employee satisfaction, and drive sales.

Lead, participate in, provide input to teams, task forces and initiatives on an area, region and national basis.

Minimum requirementsBachelors degree, 3+years of successful pharmaceuticals sales experience, 3+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales management experience, demonstrated success in leading a team in highly managed markets.

2+ years of successful experience as a regional director is preferred.
