This is a very senior level type position that would require a wide array of QA experience and leadership skills.
MUST have retail market timelines, prioritization and urgency of over the counter pharmaceutical manufacturing QA experience.
The position is a new position with an opportunity to make a difference.
This position would be over the Packaging Quality Manager, Production Line Quality Inspectors and Label Control Technician.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in a science or engineering field 3 years of experience in the management of a quality department within a pharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing company.
Experience in both is preferred, but not required.
Prior experience with topical liquid/cream products for consumer use is also preferred.
Prior experience with FDA inspections is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be able to prioritize tasks easily Must be able to deal effectively and personably with managers, peers and subordinates internally, and with vendors, customers and regulatory agencies externally Must have expert working knowledge of standard quality tools and systems used within an FDA-regulated environment; knowledge of good document control practices would be an asset Must have expert working knowledge of FDA cGMP and QSR regulations and ICH guidelines pertaining to OTC drug products and medical devices.
