Project Manager
Job DescriptionPosition Description: Project Manger - Manages projects for NCH that result in the introduction of new products, and/or the expansion of current businesses that achieve business targets within tight deadlines.
Assembles and leads multi-functional global project teams consisting of associates from all R&D functions (Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, Technical Development) Marketing, QA, Product Supply, and may include BD&L and Legal.
This position will manage special projects as required (related to systems, documentation or processes).
· Basic Project Management skills including planning, scheduling and cost control.
· Possesses the ability to provide and/or attain concise documentation.
· Demonstrates the ability to identify issues, assess potential risks and problem solving .
· Excellent communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with appropriate associates to determine needs and negotiate deliverables.
· Establishes strong working relationships with project team members and key customers.
· Demonstrates the ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects and work under pressure.
· Experience with PM software applications for planning and scheduling (MS Project, OPX2, Primavara, Excel) Minimum requirementsRequired: BS/BA, Minimum 5+ experience in Pharmaceutical or Consumer Products R&D.
Experience coordinating large and small teams managing projects and cross-functional teams.
Basic understanding of interrelated business functions and project management tools and techniques.
Preferred (but not required) : Advanced Degree a plus, Pharmaceutical OTC experience, Project Management certification (PMI) .
Project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
