Description Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development LLC., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Project Associate (QC), located in Titusville, NJ. Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.LC develops treatments that improve the health and lifestyles of people worldwide.
Research and development areas encompass novel targets in neurologic disorders, gastroenterology, oncology, infectious disease, diabetes, hematology, metabolic disorders, immunologic disorders, and reproductive medicine.
Benefit Risk Management (BRM) provides medical judgment/evaluation of the benefit-risk of J&J pharmaceutical products.
Key outputs created by BRM include, among others, responses to ad-hoc Health Authority questions, Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and other periodic safety reports, Clinical Overviews, and Benefit-Risk Assessment Reports.
The position of Project Associate supports the BRM Therapeutic Areas in the creation of their documents and conducts in the Quality Control review of TA documents, Periodic Safety Update Reports, and other documents as needed.
This position may also serve as a back-up publisher depending on training and time allowance.
Qualifications An RN or a minimum BS degree is required (biological sciences, pharmacy, or nursing preferred).
A minimum of 2 years of industry experience (pharmaceutical, biotech and/or CRO industry) is required.
This position requires an “attention to detail” commiserate with the quality control review of complex scientific/medical/clinical documents.
This position requires the ability to collect, compile, organize, and present scientific (particularly clinical) data.
Experience in medical/technical writing is preferred.
Strong scientific interpretive, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are required.
An understanding of medical strategy and the implications of medical assessments is preferred.
This position requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities, and to work with multiple functional areas and individuals.
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint is preferred.
Publishing experience is preferred.
