Novartis Sales Representatives are responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.
He/she must provide the most current information pertaining to our products and their approved indications in a manner, which will ensure the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business potential of the territory.

Job DescriptionSeeking a candidate with extensive commercial experience to manage the key strategic brand, Femara (letrozole tablets) in the Oncology Business Unit.
This person will be responsible for managing the strategic direction of the brand and for the development and successful implementation of professional marketing initiatives to grow Femara.
This person will lead an experienced team of marketers and will be accountable for the bottom line as Femara breaks through, and well beyond, the $400 million dollar mark in 2007.
This person will need to collaborate cross functionally to ensure the success of the brand.
Key interactions will include those with colleagues from Medical, Managed Markets, Global Marketing, Sales, New Products, Finance, external agencies, Key Opinion Leaders and others.
The Femara Product Director will be a key stakeholder in helping to shape the Global direction of the brand.
Minimum requirementsBusiness background is required.
Science background is desirable.
An MBA with a focus in marketing or equivalent experience is desirable.
Thorough knowledge of marketing management is essential, including experience in either sales, sales management, advertising or marketing research.
Individual must possess excellent communications skills including strong presentation skills; strong project management expertise, the ability to bridge marketing and science and the ability to manage a heavy workload common to a priority brand.
