Common Pharmacy Technician duties include the following: Selecting and preparing medications including oral, topical, and bulk medications Filling, exchanging and crediting unit-dose carts stocking shelves/order inventory as needed Accurately calculating and preparing IV admixtures Compounding large volume IV admixtures Preparing all admixtures under proper aseptic techniques Maintaining proper supplies and equipment for daily IV preparation High school graduate or equivalent.
