Description We are seeking an Outsourcing Coordinator for Clinical Supplies.

The outsourcing coordinator manages the packaging and labelling of high quality clinical supplies through third-party contractors, from planning through release, on time and on budget.

The Outsourcing Coordinator discusses packaging designs with Product Coordinators and negotiates timelines with Master Production Schedule.

He/she assists in vendor selection.

The Outsourcing Coordinator ensures budget and payment responsibilities are taken care of: He/she Obtains quotes and ensure approval, reviews invoices and assists in obtaining payment.

He/she provides feedback on spending versus budget, assist in budgeting and accomplishes other related administrative tasks.

This person manages packaging projects with packaging contractors, negotiates timelines, ensures close monitoring including change management.

He/she resolves resource conflicts and other conflicts.

The Outsourcing Coordinator assists the Purchasing Officer in monitoring contractor performance.

This person enables and monitors packaging execution at the packaging contractor.

The candidate ensures quality of packaged supplies.

and ensures availability of all material and documentation.

The candidate reviews job descriptions/packaging instructions and label copy and obtains pre- and post-packaging approvals.

He/she supervises packaging runs, obtains release through Quality Assurance.

The Outsourcing Coordinator maintains knowledge of appropriate preparation, testing, storage and dispensing of drug products and components.

This person maintains good working relationships and steady contact with contractor, Product Coordinators, Master Production Scheduler, QA, AD, Purchasing.

Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a scientific field, or equivalent experience is required.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the clinical supplies field with at least 1-2 years in dealing with contractors/vendors is preferred.

Knowledge of cGMPs and a good understanding of the clinical trial process is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and preferably have strong team orientation and influencing skills.

It is necessary that the candidate have outstanding organizational skills (mastering complex problems and tasks) and pays attention to detail (accuracy in checking documentation).

Experience using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project are preferred.

Previous project management experience is preferred.

Other required capabilities include the ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly and adjust well to rapid changes in priorities.
