Lead Lab Tech Transfusion Med - 9219
Description Performs analyses on biological specimens, eg blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
Performs management duties as assigned.
Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment.
(002247) Department: Lab Medicine and Pathology Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical technology (MT), chemistry, or a human biological science.
MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) preferred with at least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others.
Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments as directed.
**A 2-YEAR COMMITMENT TO THIS LAB IS REQUIRED.
