Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for a specified territory.

Additional duties include: developing, implementing and delivering on plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; maximizing revenue potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and developing business opportunities to drive growth; developing and maintaining accurate account and territory records as well as business plans development based on corporate, area and regional business objectives; effectively managing time to ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory in order to achieve optimum level of exposure and results; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers, customers and their ancillary staff; planning, implementing and delivering effective sales/product presentations to customers, defining objectives and measuring success; responding to customer requests and concerns in a prompt, professional and effective manner; educating customers to ensure products are understood and used effectively and within package insert guidelines; adhering to all company policies and professional industry standards; actively contributing to the development of a strong team effort and the company's overall success; and controlling and managing expenses in a way to maximize Return on Investment.

Required Experience Candidates must have 3+ years experience in Pharmaceutical, BioPharma and/or Medical Device sales with preference to having spent at least 1 year calling on hospitals and hospital based health care professionals.

Bachelor's Degree in science or business preferred.

In addition, candidates should have: demonstrated high level of sales performance in a competitive, dynamic market place; strong planning skills and demonstrated results orientation; ability to adapt to change; consistent success in territory management and account development; strong influencing, communication and selling skills; demonstrated success in providing effective customer service and the development of Key Opinion Leaders; and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must have a current, valid drivers license and clean driving record.
