Consumer And Personal Care Companies - RD&E Intern/Co-Op - 0609060
Description As a worldwide organization, our research, development & engineering personnel work directly with J&J domestic and international consumer operating companies, such as Neutrogena and RoC. Our more than 1500 personnel have the opportunity to advance through technical or managerial career paths.
The Skillman Intern/co-op program provides an opportunity for students to be exposed to our process of creating and developing new and beneficial consumer and personal care products for global markets.
Selected interns/co-ops work on pre-assigned projects including ideation, investigational research and concept development, simulation testing, and feasibility studies.
Peers, senior personnel and supervisors provide informal mentoring and coaching towards successful outcomes.
Interns/Co-ops will work in laboratory environments, in research pilot facilities and when feasible in the local manufacturing facilities.
Interns/Co-ops may work within cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams and may have multiple internal partners and customers.
Intern assignments run during the summer months from May to August.
Co-op assignments will typically range 5 to 7 months, eg January to June or July to December.
Qualifications Candidates must be working towards a B.
S., M.
S., or PhD degree in an Engineering concentration, Biological/Chemical/Pharmaceutical sciences or related concentrations.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
