Novartis Sales Representatives are responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.

He/she must provide the most current information pertaining to our products and their approved indications in a manner, which will ensure the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business potential of the territory.

Job DescriptionProvide input into the Phase II, III, and IV clinical development plans for Respiratory products.

While maintaining high standards of scientific integrity, ensure US trials are designed and conducted efficiently, completed on time and within agreed upon budgets.

Lead project teams cross functionally.

Contribute to the development and execution of publication/communication plans arising from studies and other US Clinical Development and Medical Affairs activities.

Effectively interpret study data and communicate study results both internally and externally.

Provide clinical guidance to the Respiratory franchise thereby contributing to the development of marketing strategies consistent with best medical practice.

Support brand teams by developing and providing therapeutic-area related training, and reviewing promotional material for medical content.

In collaboration with Scientific Operations group, foster advocate development.

PRINCIPALS ONLY.

Minimum requirementsMD with at least 2 years of clinical research experience in industry or drug development as an investigator.

Training in Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Pulmonary, Allergy/Immunology or Infectious Disease a plus.

Knowledge of present and future trends in the Respiratory area - scientific, research, commercial.

Understanding of drug development process.

Knowledge of GCP and U.

S regulatory requirements in Respiratory area.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

Enjoys working in a collaborative matrixed environment.

Exhibits a strong drive for career growth and development.
