Assoc. Director - Special Pack Process
Job DescriptionThis individual will have complete responsibility for the display management team and process with complete accountability for delivering displays on time and meeting Novartis Quality standards.
Will be responsible for the development and successful implementation of a new display process within the Consumer Healthcare division.
This successful candidate would be a key member of the product supply team and contribute to the development and execution of the strategic plans for the special pack business.
The candidate will have interactions with senior members of key internal support departments and external supply vendors.
This person to possess excellent communication skills.
Can create a vision for the team and can effectively communicate and effect change within the organization.
A broad business understanding and sales exposure a plus.
Possesses a keen external focus.
This person would also be responsible for implementing a new project Management software tool for the special pack business.
They would also minimize display rework, improve customer service metrics and reducing obsolescent /remnant inventories.
Will be responsible for tracking and issuing metrics for display programs.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to the hiring and training of new employees, promoting a culture change to support the new special pack management, building an environment which promotes team work and the need for continuous improvements.
Minimum requirementsBusiness and/or operations background is required.
An MBA with a focus in manufacturing or logistics experience is desirable.
Individual must possess excellent communications skills including strong presentation skills and strong project management expertise.
The ability to manage a heavy workload and develop a strategic view for the special pack business In the future.
Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives 5-7 years planning experience in an operations support and process management environment.
