Forecasting Your Responsibilities: For the position of Sales and Forecast Analyst your main responsibility is to analyze and report point of sale and forecast data for use in vendor manager inventory (VMI) sales analysis and forecast applications.
You will manage key retail accounts including Walmart.
Your essential functions include;• Work with electronic data interface and Internet point of sale programs available to PACP through our Customers, for VMI and sales analysis.
• Review point of sale information regularly, building a database for analysis and issuing reports from the database.
• Present recommendations for adjustments to forecasts based on trends, point of sale information and additional market information available.
• Attend conferences relative to sales and forecast analysis.
Additional responsibilities will include training to be back-up for other essential functions within areas as assigned.
You will also learn Demand Solutions system to create reports for forecast analysis.
Your Profile: The Sales and Forecast Analyst must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Business or Marketing.
Ideally you will have three to five years experience in the preparation of sales analysis and forecasts within a marketing/sales environment.
A strong Advantage would be to have experience with retail clients such as Walmart or K- Mart.
This is an excellent position for someone who has an outgoing personality, a strong worth ethic and who can think out of the box. You will have an eye for detail and be willing to grow in the role and the company.
There is a lot of growth potential for the ideal candidate and you will be expected to be ambitious be willing to travel to their clients when necessary.
You must have excellent Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and ideally Access.
You must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, SAP experience a definite plus.
