Project Lead Engineer
Project Lead Engineer Job Requisition Number: Q06411 The Project Engineer will serve as the lead of the Engineering team in Arnold, MO. The Project Engineer will work side-by-side with contractor and government personnel to ensure all project issues are addressed.
The contract is a multi-contractor program; therefore, candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse set of contractors and all grades of customer personnel.
The Project Engineer will provide leadership to the other employees in Arnold, MO, and coordinate all scheduled activities in Arnold.
The Project Engineer will require an understanding of the products and the relationship within the NSG architecture.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for understanding all the GRS requirements, the test scenarios across products, the exec ution of those scenarios, and the trouble shooting of the integration environment.
The Project Engineer will provide lifecycle project management analysis, identify solutions, and plan activities.
Day-to-day tasks to include: support customer requests/issues, attend applicable meetings (boards, reviews, TEMs, tag-ups / status), coordinate and research customer and issues, prepare briefing charts, maintain schedules, review documentation, and build relationships with internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications: B.
S / B.
A degree or equivalent experience in technical or related field (Computer Science, Engineering) plus 8 years technical experience.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written presentation skills.
Previous Project Engineering Experience.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated logistics support to a major program.
Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
A bility to work independently or within a team environment.
Strong problem solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Current TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to work in a Government environment as part of a multi-contractor team.
Desired Qualifications: Current TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph within the last four years; Customer experience.
Direct experience performing Project Engineering on a previous assignment.
Experience managing system interfaces and end-to-end systems integration of new and existing components.
Willing to travel (<20%).
