Product Support Engineer
Product Support Engineer Job Requisition Number: L02233 Serve as a technical point of contact for airlines for the Service Center.
Responsible for developing information networks with customers.
Serve as liaison between the Service Center, Airlines Support Engineering and Design Engineering functions for failure analysis and product design changes.
Provide technical leadership for assigned product to assure achievement of reliability, cost and customer satisfaction goals.
Develop productivity improvements.
Lead and direct troubleshoot development and resolution of Service Center problem areas.
Analyze in-service and in-flight shutdown data to identify need for repairs or changes in product design.
Communicate findings to customers and appropriate engineering functions.
Be the focal point for Product Test Engineers providing engineering leadership and di rection on issues such as test yield, engineering investigations and product throughput.
Review current test and repair processes and develop cycle time improvements.
Resolve configuration/hardware support issues on the maintenance of assigned programs.
Provide business analysis of Service Center products as required.
Must Have the Following: BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience 4 - 8 years relevant engineering support experience Solid oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong problem solving skills Teaming skills PC skills Knowledge of Service Center or equivalent mfg. shop Electronics products experience Ability to travel domestically and overseas Prefer to Have the Following: Submit Resume BAE SYSTEMS offers a full benefit package, plus a very competitive salary.
