On-Site Field Service Engineer
Job Description: Responsibilities Diagnoses and repairs all designated product lines within assigned territory, including preventative maintenance visits and installations.
Develops service schedule and determines call priority based on customer needs and available resources.
Troubleshoots customer-related problems, determines repair needs, and order parts required.
Promotes the sale of service agreements by utilizing customer lists, service reports, referrals, warranty expirations, for names of contacts to whom product may be sold.
Completes all paperwork and expense reports and submits weekly.
~HJ~~CB~ Qualifications An Associate degree in electronic engineering or electronic engineering technology or comparable military/commercial training.
5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent.
Extensive computer and software knowledgeProven professionalism and leadership qualities.
Must be able to communicate effectively by speech and in writing.
Valid drivers license.
Desired Bachelor degree in elctronics, computer science, or life sciences is desirable.
2-3 years of service engineer experience within a Life Sciences organization.
