Network Infrastructure Engineer E0524 Job Requisition Number: 507155 OPPORTUNITY BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer who is ready for a new challenge with an innovative company.
JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for engineering customer enterprise infrastructure network.
Provide analysis and recommendations on network optimization and enhancements to improve performance, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Provide consultation on Infrastructure Service Requests by providing quality control and continuity on Technical Assessments, Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), and Engineering Orders (EOs).
Development of Enterprise network configuration documentation.
Applicants selected for some positions will be subjected to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to cla ssified information.
Applicants with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level salary grade.
Additional duties as required.
Must Have the Following: US Citizenship Working knowledge of typical DoD Enterprise Network infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with routers, bridges, switches, network security, and network management.
5+ years of hands-on Cisco and Marconi multilayer switch and router configuration and troubleshooting.
5+ years of experience in the design, implementation, support, and management of complex LAN solutions.
Technical experience in network design and engineering, and TCP/IP network design, routing protocols, OSI model, SNMP, RMON, routing protocols (OSPF) Security audit and design experience Candidate MUST have minimum TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this position Prefer to Have the Following: Certifications CCNA, CCNP, Marconi, CISSP Certifications.
Knowledge of Cisco, Marconi, and Foundry products MCSE certification Submit Resume BAE SYSTEMS offers a full benefit package, plus a very competitive salary.
