Information Assurance Analyst
Information Assurance Analyst Job Requisition Number: 800209 Systems security professional with broad-ranging IT systems and network security experience and a working knowledge of National and DoD IT security policies and procedures to support Security Certification and Accreditation of various systems of information technologies in a dynamic DoD environment.
Apply national, DoD or Military Service and local policies and procedures to conduct analysis of systems security engineering designs of UNIX and Windows-based Operating Systems.
Provide written analysis of results and author accreditation documentation.
Must Have the Following: A Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline desired.
However, those without degrees but demonstrated experience in information systems security may also be considered.
Systems security to include DITSCAP/NIACAP; internet protocols; vulnerability analysis/risk assessment; security policy design/enforcement; systems design/analysis; intrusion detection systems; and configuration management Current SECRET or above security clearance desired.
Some overnight travel may be required Must be able to work in a team environment, take direction and work independently to complete assigned tasks on schedule Must have very good written communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word Prefer to Have the Following: An Accomplished writer Effective team player Business development experience.
