Document Control Officer
Document Control Officer Job Requisition Number: 800286 Understand general operating principles for positive accountability of official mail to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.
Apply DoD and U.SPS. requirements and administration regulations and operating procedures to mailroom operations.
Provide support to the Document Control Officer in the daily operation of a mail facility.
Possess knowledge of security procedures, postal regulations, and organizational administrative procedures applicable to processing classified material.
Knowledge of special security markings covered by DoD and U.SPS. requirements and administrative regulations.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures applicable to document control and mail handling.
Must Have the Following: Must have a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record, with at least two years of documented driving experience.
Have knowledge of U.SPS. regulations, procedures, mail operations, and managerial responsibilities to serve as Document Control Manager in the absence of the incumbent.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work/perform duties independently.
Must have an Active Secret security clearance and able to maintain a security clearance.
Proficieint with MS Office Suite.
Prefer to Have the Following: Bachelors Degree preferred, or three years previous security/document control experience desired.
