Career opportunities at Penn Iron Works Our business at Penn Iron Works is experiencing substantial growth, and we have immediate openings in the following positions to sustain this growth.

Fitters We are seeking fitters with experience in heavy steel fabrication.

Candidates must be proficient in interpreting blueprints and capable of passing an ASME welding test in stick and flux-core mig welding techniques.

Welders Penn Iron Works utilizes stick, flux-core mig, tig, and submerged arc welding techniques.

The candidate will be required to pass an ASME welding test in stick and flux-core mig to qualify for this position.

Experience in tig and submerged arc is a plus.

Machinists The successful candidate will have experience operating both manual and CNC machining equipment and be capable of interpreting blueprints and setting up the equipment.

Our equipment and the parts we manufacture are relatively large; therefore, experience with larger equipment would be helpful.
