Assistant Translators (Chinese And German)

Assistant Translators (Chinese and German) Leggett & Platt, Incorporated, is currently accepting applications for positions in their Translation Services department.
The Translation Services department handles a variety of projects and provides services in more than 40 language pairs.
If you are bilingual in English and Chinese or German, have translation experience or are interested in utilizing your bilingual skill on a daily basis, we may have a job for you. The Assistant Translator positions involve translating documents, providing interpretation for conference calls, assisting in finding definitions of technical terms and updating logs.
These positions may require occasional travel to provide simultaneous translation for meetings.
We are looking for someone with outstanding communication skills and professional phone etiquette, excellent grammar and spelling in both English and Chinese or German, good writing ability, careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Internet research experience and previous use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pagemaker, Framemaker and/or Macintosh are preferred.
These hourly paid positions offer an excellent working atmosphere and a comprehensive benefit package.
Pay is commensurate with skill levels, education, work experience and computer knowledge.
We will only consider candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Carthage, Missouri or desire to relocate to the area at their own expense.
