Senior Sports Program Director: YMCA of the Coastal Bend

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced leader to join our team.
Aligned with the new national brand, for Youth Development, you will provide successful leadership to part time staff and volunteers and guide decisions related to the YMCA sports program for the association.
Description: Under the supervision of the Operations Director, primary responsibilities include: lead, develop, implement, and administer high-quality programs and services that actively engage program participants, build program participation and develop the association sports program and the Miracle League of South Texas.
The YMCA of the Coastal Bend is looking for a highly motivated team player to build positive relationships with our all sports populations in order to develop YMCA sports leagues in the coastal bend area.
This individual will also manage and develop the Miracle League.
The Miracle League is a baseball program for special populations.
This position is ideally suited for someone who wants to grow his/her career and prepare to take leadership to the next level.
Experience in volunteer development and supervision.
Valid First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.
This position requires someone with a special desire and ability to reach out to the community.

Additional Responsibilities include: facility management, budget development; fiscal management and control; program development; volunteer leadership development; staff development; and risk management.
