Wildwood Programs, Inc. is hiring!Stable job, Paid trainingWildwood Programs, Inc.www.wildwood.eduDepartment: Residential ServicesLocations: Latham, Watervliet, Albany, Schenectady, AlplausHours: Must be available for day and evening hours on Wed-Sunday, with at least one sleep overnight a week requiredPosition Summary: Work in a community residence for adults with developmental disabilities.
You will assist residents with daily living skills including: personal hygiene, cooking, house maintenance, social interaction with peer group, mobility training, constructive use of leisure time and personal finances.
-- Participates in program plan development and participates in activities to build competencies and integrate individuals fully into their communities.
Candidates should be able to work independently and have strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Requirements for Residential Counselor: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are requiredMust be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OMRDD mandated criminal background check processBenefits at Wildwood Programs* We pay up to 90% of the cost of health and dental insurance for employees and their dependents.
