Residential Consultant: Boys Town

boystown.org/careers/Position.aspx?pid=3812 <p>Directly responsible for all aspects of clinical operations for assigned family homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week <li>Supervises and manages Family Teaching Couples and Assistant Family-Teachers <li>Oversees proper implementation of and compliance with the Boys Town Treatment Model <p>Responsible for administrative aspects of residential operations <li>Conducts FTC/AFT team treatment planning and administrative meetings <li>Provides FTC/AFT consultation and periodic feedback as required <li>Conducts on-going training and review to include: home maintenance and budget, youth progress, consumer relations, Family/Assistant Family-Teacher professionalism, policies and procedures; crisis interventions as required; FTC/AFT evaluations and interviews; in-home observation and direction monitored by the Program Director: frequency of observation and direction will be determined by the developmental level of the staff and the children in care <li>Provides on-going clarification and documentation of youth progress from data provided by reviewing: motivation systems; behavioral treatment plans; school and employment performance; family contact; agency requirements and medical and psychological needs <li>Performs duties as assigned <p>Serves as a role model in carrying out the Boys Town mission.
</p> <p><b>Job Requirements: </b><li>Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related Human Services field is required.
If hired with a bachelor's degree, candidate will be a pay grad
10. Will consider highly qualified candidate with appropriate academic credentials short of a bachelor's degree and strong experience in a Boys Town Family Home residential program.
This consideration will be contingent upon enrollment and completion of a bachelor's degree program within three years of hire.
If hired without a bachelor's degree, candidate will be a pay grad
9. If during the three-year period it is apparent that a bachelor's degree cannot be completed, candidate may be reassigned to a position for which they qualify or be terminated<li>Two (2) years experience working with youth in a Family Home Model or Boys Town Treatment Model experience preferred<li>Knowledge of consultation, training, evaluation or administration acquired from hands-on experience preferred<li>Will complete an annual certification process
5. Must possess valid driver's license with a good driving record, plus ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of job<li>Maintains high level of confidentiality.
