LEAD SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

careers at AltaMed(On-Call, Temporary, and Full-Time) : Assists in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures, basic administrative, clerical, and technical support to medical providers.
May administer IM, SQ, and ID injections and may perform skin test, venipunctures, and skin punctures for blood specimens.
Requires excellent communication skills, customer service; ability to obtain findings and document appropriately.
Requirements: Basic education, training and certification in Medical Assisting.
Minimum 1 year experience to include Pediatrics (CHDP billing) and Family Practice.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Locations: BuenaCare; El Monte , Clinics Management, Bell , Senior BuenaCare, ELA/BH, Pico Rivera , ELA/Commerce, and ELA/DVL Medical Clinics.
