Education & Program Service Assistant SmithBucklin, established in 1949, originated as an association management company.
Presently we serve national trade associations, professional and scientific societies, corporations, and information technology groups with offices in Chicago, Washington, DC, and St. Louis.

Our Washington DC office has an entry level opportunity available.
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain experience in a fast paced work environment.
Position Summary: Responsible for supporting and meeting all Client education and program needs in an administrative, organizational, and information gathering capacity in a timely and high quality manner.
Essential Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to educational program work.
Ensure accurate/timely entering of records into our database system Participate and contribute to the educational aspects of program planning (preparation, e.
g., management of speakers, and post event support, e.
g., session evaluations).
Pay close attention to detail demonstrating accuracy and efficiency in word processing, time management and business correspondence.
Attend educational events and client meetings.
Coordinate work activity efficiently, and check that work has been carried out to specification and met all deadlines.
Act as intermediary with other Unit teams and vendors.
Travel and work overtime as needed.
Develop and maintain good relationships with event speakers to provide support and service, responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (All majors encouraged to apply) Some previous experience in a similar role a plus.
