Director of Funding and Development: Community Services
Individual with Person Centered mindset, OMRDD experience, and a strong understanding of budgets sought to oversee program development and related activities.
Responsibilities include: Seeks government and private foundation funding.
Works with program services in identifying unmet needs and then creating programs, as well as funding, to fill in any identified gaps in services.
Oversee new program development including the preparation and submission of all required proposals, documents, plans and budgets.
Develops, negotiates, and analyzes rate setting for Agency services Acts as the Agency liaison to governmental oversight regarding development opportunities and ongoing funding.
Monitors compliance with contract funding requirements and ensures all required reports/renewals are submitted.
Develops and maintains good internal and external business relationships.
Works closely with program services and the Agency finance departments.
Must be well versed in the use of computer applications, including Excel.
Works with Agency personnel to create development strategies that are in support of the agency strategic plan.
Assist the Agency finance department in monitoring and processing funding reports, reimbursement claims and billing for services.
Oversees Community Relations and Program Outreach/Marketing.
OMRDD experience required.
Must have good writing skills and understand complex mathematical calculations for budgets.
Must have working knowledge of application and approval process as well as OMRDD Rules and Regluations related to job duties.
Masters Degree and 2 years OMRDD experience OR Bachelors Degree and 4 years OMRDD experience required.
2 years of supervisory experience also required.
