Wireless Sales Consultant - Marion, IL Job in Marion, Illinois US
Responsibilities include assisting new and existing customers in the selectionand purchase of products and services.
Effectively communicate product andservice information, feature functionality, billing procedures and equipmentusage to each customer Proactively follow-up with customer after the sale toguarantee product and customer satisfaction Effectively process customer billpayments Effectively answer basic customer service questions and make outboundcalls for customer follow-up and prospecting opportunities Effectively performback office duties including inventory and repair, accessory stock, shipping andreceiving of repairs with third party repair vendor and basic handset repairsand/or system upgrades Aptitude to learn communication products and servicesAbility to work independently without close supervision Self-motivation toachieve targets needed to attain monthly goals Strong communication skillsAbility to provide high levels of customer service and interact positively withcustomers to offer sales solutions for communication needs Ability toreconcile/balance cash registers Good decision-making skills Flexibility withwork hours and willingness to work weekends as required Continued employment forthis position is contingent upon successful completion of the Alltel trainingprocess, which includes the New Hire Training Assessment.
High school diploma orequivalent.
College degree preferred with an emphasis in Sales or Marketing.
6months 1 year of retail sales, customer service or telecommunicationsexperience.
