We currently have an opening for aWebsphere Portal Administrator / Developer with UI Design experience Required SkillsHands on experience with IBM Websphere Portal Server, IBM Web Content Management, Webpshere Application Server, Oracle 10g and Linux.
Provides operation support for portal environment (administer servers/databases), handle Helpdesk tickets and available for off-hours support.
Provide administration of the portal installation (software, configuration and operations) of the production, quality assurance and development environments.
Tune, optimize and configure portal environment Work within structured portal and project framework, build and deploy portal and portlet applications from scratch or using portlet factory.
Lead and assist the development team in activities such as portal integration with the back end data sources.
Experience architecting/engineering/adminstrate infrastructure and application changes to the portal framework in support of business requirements.
Additional SkillsExperience designing/developing high quality web elements in support of portal technology to make recommendations to improve the look and feel of the portals/portlets and making the UI more dynamic is a plusDesign experience using efficient/effective code - HTML, XHTML, Javascript and XML is a plusExperience create/acquire professional graphics or obtain non-proprietary photographs for the web portal is a plus BridgeView IT is an equal opportunity employer.
