Web Business Analyst, EF Educational Tours, Boston, MA Job in Boston , Massachusetts US
Tours Business Solutions collaborates with the family of EF Tours products to develop and support applications and web sites that foster growth and increase efficiency.
This position will focus on leading web projects and incorporating new technologies in our suite of web sites.
The successful candidate should be able to balance driving specific project requirements with supporting overall web technology goals.The successful candidate: Must have an excellent understanding of web design and development best practices.
A passion for web technologies, web sites, and interactive communication.Is highly organized, detailed-oriented, thorough, and follows through on commitments.
Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
Strong problem-solving and analytic skills.
Must be able to effectively work with web designers and developers, senior architects, sales and marketing staff.
Day-to-day tasks: Conduct meetings with user groups and internal stake holders to gather, understand, and document product/service requirements.
Act as project manager by maintaining continuous communication with key stakeholders and developers throughout development and the testing lifecycle to ensure final product meets requirements and expected outcomes.
Work with business owners to develop test case scenarios for functional enhancements.
Collaborate with business partners to discuss technical feasibilities and best approach to innovative design and functionality proposals.
Maintain awareness of web technology standards and trends, and make recommendations around new implementations.
Experience: 2-5 years experience in designing, testing and executing web development projects.
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
A bachelors degree in information technology, interactive development, web development or a related field.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead.
Advanced knowledge of site navigation, information architecture, and usability engineering.
Working knowledge of Web production tools and technologies.
SQL and CMS experience a major plus.
