Waste Water Treatment Plant Inspector Job in Landover 20785, Maryland US
Our client currently has an opening for a Resident Inspector to oversee construction of wastewater overflow odor control facilities.
This position requires experience with wastewater treatment plant construction.
Responsibilities: - Inspect, observe, and ensure a construction project is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications by the design division- Maintain accurate field notes/daily diary- Identify unforeseen conditions or errors in the plans and specifications of the project, become knowledgeable with right of ways, permits, test procedures, schedules, shop drawings, and utility locations- Maintain healthy relationships with contractors or sub-contractors and engineering/architectural design team.
- Keep supervisor advised of problem areas- Demonstrates sufficient skills and judgment to successfully complete larger or more complex construction projects- Becomes knowledgeable with the pertinent information of a construction project, or aspect of a construction project, including but not limited to the plans and specifications, restrictions and right of ways, permits, test procedures, schedules, shop drawings, utility locations and information- Oversee field staffRequirements: .
Familiarity with wastewater overflow odor control facilities- Familiarity with concrete, steel, mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation- Experience with wastewater treatment plant construction a plus- Experience with pipe line installation or process piping- Requires a Bachelors degree and 3+ years of construction experience or 7+ years of construction experience- Basic computer skills including word and excel are a mustRequired Skills: waste water overflow, HVAC, PROCESS PIPING, pipe line installationJoin Aerotek E & ESM.
