This position is responsible for conceptualizing and creating video assets of K-12 classroom teaching for use in training and professional development courses.

The Video Producer will manage video production projects through the following phases: planning and preproduction, field production, post-production, and archiving.

The Video Producer will be responsible for interacting with Pearson customers (teachers, students, administrators) at in-school shoots so a high degree of professionalism and organization is required.

In addition, the Video Producer is responsible for tracking and reporting on a variety of video asset creation tasks including content planning, areas of integration, scope, methodology, permissions, quality, human resource needs, communication, risks and procurement.

This position is also responsible for executing and managing video production and post production for multiple projects, each of which may involve team members from various departments and/or multiple geographic locations.

In addition, the Video Producer is responsible for overseeing outside post-production teams and other vendors as needed; assisting the Training and Professional Development Manager with special projects, including prototypes; and working with the Operations Manager on scheduling and budgeting.

The Video Producer is also charged with making decisions and offering solutions that will help improve the process, budget, or timeframe on video projects, based on the Video Producer's knowledge of the business and business needs.
