Veterinary Practice Bookkeeper/Accountant Job in Selma 78154, Texas US
Immediate opening for an experienced bookkeeper/accountant at a busy eight doctor equine veterinary hospital.
Applicant must work at the hospital.
Must have a degree in Accounting.
Must have at least three years experience in bookkeeping.
Must know Quickbooks and Excel.
Will work closely with practice owner.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Accounts Payable (for two corporations)Balance checkbooks (for two corporations)Coding InventoryCreate and understand Financials (for two corporations)Create and understand Chart of Accounts (for two corporations)Create and understand practice billing program and codesBalance monthly close out during billingPayrollUnderstand payroll quarterly reportsWork with CPA (for two corporations) Must be able to create statistical information and budgets for owner.
