Veeco Ion Beam Equipment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the processing and verification necessary to ensure accurate and timely payments of invoices Prepare and report monthly AP accrual and reconciliationReview and approve all cash disbursements for validity and on time extractionPrepare cash forecast, anticipate cash needs and cash restrictionsAnalyze vendor accounts and work with purchasing/materials to negotiate extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted.
Will be the gatekeeper of the vendor master file by entering all new vendors into SAPEstablishes, modifies, documents and coordinates implementation of accounts payable policies and control procedures· Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
Provides assistance and training to staff · Responsible for audit of employee expense reporting QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 5-7 years Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of accounts payable and accounting policiesKeen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skillsMust be proficient in MS Office Programs Microsoft Word & Excel are criticalSAP experience a major plusStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write routine reports and correspondence and present effectively to peers, management, and customers
