VP SALES & MARKETING - CONSUMER PLUMBING PRODUCTS Job in Job location not provided
100+ year old manufacturer of plumbing based products sold through National Home Centers, Wholesales, and Distribution based in Cincinnati, OHIO has a need for a VP SALES & MARKETING.
The VP of Sales and Marketing will be the senior executive responsible for directing all sales, marketing, and customer service functions.
The position requires both a strategic and an operations perspective, proactively identifying potential opportunities for the business.
The successful candidate will act as a true business partner with the companys President on all decisions related to the operation of the company.
As a member of senior management, the VP of Sales/Marketing will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
This role will directly supervise the sales representatives in both the retail and plumbing/wholesale markets.
Additionally, the Merchandising Manager and Customer Service Manager will be direct subordinates.
In doing so, the VP of Sales and Marketing will develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
Additionally, the VP of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for: · Identify new product opportunities to significantly grow revenues.
· Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
· Participate in the development of new project proposals.
· Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
· Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials.
· Represent the Company at various trade and/or business meetings.
· Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
· Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
To be considered candidates must meet the following background
1. Minimum of Bachelors Degree with preference for MBA2) Must have 10+ years of Executive / Senior Sales Management experience3) Currently Director Sales, National Sales Manager, VP Sales for $75M+ Consumer Products Manufacturer4) Must have experience selling into Mass Retail, Distribution, Co-Op, and Wholesalers5) Must be open for relocation to Cincinnati, OHIOThis role will offer a competitive salary, bonus, benefits include 401k and relocation assistance to the Cincinnati area.
