VP Project Manager - Derivatives Legal Entity Job in New York, New York US
An outstanding, visible growth opportunity as a VP Project Manager exists with this premier financial services firm in NYC. In this challenging, exciting role you will: Provide detailed analysis of processes and workflows for Derivatives, Loans, and Broker Dealer OperationsAnalyze business needs against the best platforms and tools available globallyCreating business requirements, technical specifications, implementation, and test plans in partnership with the respective business users and technology teamsPerform in the capacity of either Project Lead for cross-functional implementations or Operational Process Manager, as requiredVP PM of Derivatives Legal Entity Qualifications: 10-15 years of Operations, Technology, Financial, or Risk Management experienceKnowledge of Derivative, Loans, and Foreign Exchange products and platforms is preferredMust be a self-starter with ability to work with cross-functional teams globallyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build consensus and influenceHistory of success working in a team environmentFlexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing prioritiesAdditionally, one should have in-depth product and process experience to analyze transactions and process flows, propose improvement recommendations, and execute projects against themWork with a number of internal support functions to ensure controlled and efficient support transactions and process flowsProduce results under tight time-framesDeal with localized business needs without compromising global standardsManage multiple functions, projects, and tasks simultaneouslyBe comfortable working with Senior Management and all levels of management and operations staffProduce results under tight time-framesDeal with localized business needs, without compromising global standardsManage multiple functions, projects, and tasks simultaneously
