VP/Director of Finance Job in San Jose, California US
FINANCE DIRECTOR - BUSINESS UNIT 150K+ BONUS SAN JOSE, CA Global manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Finance for a growing business unit.
Reporting to the local President, this position will have overall financial responsibility for all aspects of the operations for this business unit.
Responsibilities include: - Preparations of business plans and budgets.
- Develop strategies for business growth and financial models to execute growth plan.
- Ensure appropriate financial and accounting controls in compliance with corporate.
- Improve processes/procedures of financial reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain assessment of risks and opportunities for this business unit.
- Provide financial packages/reports to corporate headquarter.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of FAR, CAS regulations, and government contracts.
Requirements: - Minimum 10 years plus of financial planning and modeling experience from large, manufacturing companies - Must have understanding of government contracts, FAR, and CAS regulations - Excellent management leadership skills - Strong project management skills and ability to drive results through multiple disciplines in an organization - Must be able to travel (25%-50%, mostly within the US).
