VHDL Engineer (CLEARANCE REQUIRED) Job in Columbia 21046, Maryland US
09-05: Senior VHDL EngineerOur client is looking for Senior VHDL Engineers to provide technical expertise in system solutions and VHDL design for a small team in the design, development, integration, and test of operational prototypes.
You will perform specialized hardware design, digital design, VHDL coding, simulation, synthesis and place and route for Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs.
You will need good knowledge and experience with digital design tools sets such as Modelsim, Synplicity, and vendor tools.
Your work will also require a good understanding of hardware and software interaction, and a background in communication protocols and embedded environments.
Requirements: - BSEE or BSCS or equivalent experience- Minimum six years experience with a Bachelors degree.
Minimum ten years without a degree.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for obtaining a government security clearance.
