Urban Planner for new Middle East City sought by EPCM Job in Job location not provided
US-based global EPC/M seeks degreed, mid-level Urban Planner to prepare Master Plan update tasks, program and schedule for a Middle East greenfield city-building project near a large industrial development.
The position level is designed for a professional with a minimum of 10 years' related experience but a senior technical professional is sought.
This position is available immediately.
This is a single status, likely campsite living conditions initially, long workweek position with paid overtime requiring a two year project commitment.
MAJOR DUTIES: Prepare Master Plan update tasks, program and schedule.
Recommend the necessary multi disciplinary team for the Master Plan Update.
Coordinate and manage all different tasks.
Contribute to the preparation of the final Master Plan Document.
Prepare City Development Program for the community for 5 years.
Makes presentations to senior project and client Management.
Position SkillsMaster's degree in Urban & Regional Planning.
Conducted at least two comprehensive master plans for midsize town100,000 to 200,000 inhabitants.
Knowledge of urban and municipal planning principles and also of newurbanism concepts.
Possess strong interpersonal communication, project management, researchand analytical skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and GIS-related expertise.
Arabic language/planning experience preferred.
