Position ID: 20959Position Title: Sr. Construction Underwriter Min Education Desired: Bachelors Degree Travel Percentage: 10-25% Relocation: No Job Summary: Under limited direction, underwrites and analyzes new and renewal business.
Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manuals.
Works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments.
Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community.
Develops/maintains agency and/or broker relationships.
Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with 5 or more years of Midsize to Large Casualty Underwriting Experience.
Construction Underwriting experience highly desired.
