UNIT BASED CLINICAL EDUCATOR Job in Dallas, Texas US
The Women's and Children's Services Unit Based Clinical Educator assesses for, designs, implements and evaluates clinical education activities to promote excellence in practice and development of staff.
Is a clinical expert in a specialty area.
Is a hands-on" clinical educator whose primary customers are staff and Nurse Managers.
The focus of the work is in the direct-care setting: at the bedside, unit inservices and/or staff meetings, rather than the classroom setting.
The requirements for this position include a Master's degree in Nursing and at least 3 years recent experience in WCS. Specialty Certification is preferred.
Licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or eligibility to be licensed is required.
