Trust Analyst Job in Boston 02111, Massachusetts US
To provide analysis and conduct special projects for Choate's Trust Administrators.
Responsibilities will focus on managing multiple projects to completion relating to trust beneficiaries and other clients.
Successful candidates must have strong analytic skills (including proficiency with Excel), a high level of energy, and the ability to work with multiple people on several projects simultaneously.
Project management skills.
Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Applicants should have a track record of success in leading projects to a successful conclusion under inflexible deadlines.
Projects will range from client-specific matters to internal operational improvements.
Applicants should be able to work well with multiple supervisors and should be able to work independently while keeping supervisors informed and involved.Applications. Applicants must have superb Excel skills and be a proficient user of PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
Applicant should have the ability to learn and become expert in new applications, including AccuTrust, the departments trust accounting system, with limited formal training.
Interpersonal Skills.
Applicants should be able to work well with a wide range of personalities.
Patience, flexibility and common sense are mandatory.We seek a candidate with a financial or accounting background including a related Bachelors degree.
A basic understanding of income taxes and investments including trust, estate planning and estate/gift tax knowledge is a plus.
However, specific experience or qualifications are secondary to strong intrinsic abilities and a willingness to work hard.
