Treatment Counselor Job in La Quinta, California US
Under general supervision, the Treatment Counselor is the patients link between the provider and the method of paying for treatment.
In this position, the doctor prescribed treatment needs are presented to the patient and financial arrangements are made.
The Treatment Counselor is responsible for all aspects of the financial arrangements including the calculation of treatment amounts, confirmation and estimates of insurance benefits, and the follow-up of incomplete treatment plans to provide new sources of income to the practice.
