Treasury Analyst Job in Plymouth 55441, Minnesota US
Overview: Position will support all aspects of the Treasury function, activities and responsibilities including managing the daily cash management process, card program implementation and support, monitor all bank accounts daily and manage the bank administration process.
The Treasury Analyst will be required to work closely with groups across the organization, bankers and third party vendors.
Responsibilities/Relationships: · Manage and control daily cash process, transfers and day to day Treasury inquiries.
· Complete daily reconciliation of bank accounts, create daily/weekly interface of banking transactions to the general ledger and assist Accounting to clear suspense items related to cash transactions.
· Work with external and internal stakeholders to fulfill requests of the company for our clients accounts or our own strategic planning, technology and/or implementation.
· Bank administration of domestic and international accounts, monitor and review bank performance and account fees analysis.
· Update policies, procedures and controls for the Treasury organization as required for SOX or equivalent internal compliance.
Ensure compliance with internal controls in all aspects of cash management activities and complete necessary compliance testing.
· Update Treasury documentation and continuity planning as needed and review on a quarterly basis.
· Maintain Treasury databases for letters of credit, surety bonds, cash balances and forecasting, bank analysis, benchmarking metrics and all others as needed.
· Assist manager to ensure bank account signatures, structure and services are consistently up to date.
· Maintain travel & expense and purchasing card programs, manage and coordinate internal relationships.
· Manage merchant card relationship requests and implementation needs with internal contacts.
· Identifies cost saving and profit maximizing opportunities whenever possible.
· Implements and maintains vendors services for cash movement and banking activities.
· Special projects and prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting · Certified Treasury Professional preferred.
· Card program experience preferred.
· Minimum 2-3 years Treasury experience.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across the business and finance organization.
· Ability to prioritize effectively with flexibility to respond to changing needs.
· Solid understanding of banking regulations, at both federal and local levels, and compliance requirements (SOX, SEC etc)· Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office suites, banking and financial systems.
· Strong problem solving, critical thinking, decision making and analytical skills with a high level of attention of detail.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
